Eternal Frontier by Antony Melchiorri

This one was ok, not great 3/5 stars.  The characters are appealing but the cliff-hangers and melodrama were a bit too over-the-top.

I enjoyed the story line in this radio drama.  The dialogue was much too fast so I had to slow it down while listening.  3/5 stars.

The Wreck of the River of Stars by Michael Flynn

I love Michael Flynn's writing but this story was too depressing for me.  And the characterization was way over-the-top.  The story reads like a mythology or ancient Theogony.  There were two or three aphorisms in every paragraph.  I don't recommend this one, 2/5 stars.

Book 5 of the Mongoliad: Better than book 4.  Worth reading to find out what happens to the characters we love from earlier books; I am losing interest in this series, 3/5 stars.​

Siege Perilous

Another book in the Mongoliad series started by Neal Stephenson: this one continues the adventures of the surviving heroes from the previous book.  The writing is getting worse and I did not care about the characters or the history, 2/5 stars.  Meh.
